Hmm... Only got there at 8plus for dinner at sushi tei with part of the alchy gang... was late from fetching my bro so he only brought the car home at ard 7.30pm. i ate salmon (the fish) for the 2nd time after ikoi.. haha! the salmon there is much better ;)
Headed down to Dempsey Rd after n surprisingly it was full of cars!! there were cars everywhere in the whole dimly lit place! n wine network was FULL!! so we proceeded to Wine Company... sat outside.. gwen was literally pespiring cos it was rather humid... open 4 bottles of wine at start.. 2 red n 2 white but 3 of them were CMI~ the gal opened n let us taste. we didn't like but can't change... hmmm..???
Simon had to drive after cos my face was damn red! n was afraid there was road blocks too... lucky coast was clear! melia n him dropped outside waterside place then i drove home..
I thought it's really sweet so i'll share it.. got it off a forwarded email from my hk fren..
It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 am, when an elderly gentleman, in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On exam it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redressed his wound.
While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation. I asked him if he had an important appointment that morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife. I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer Disease. As we talked, and I finished dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he was a bit late.
He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now. I was surprised, and asked him. "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?" He smiled as he patted my hand and said."She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is." I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose pimples on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life."

The name card u see above is from some dude tat apparently tried to pick me up last fri when i was on my way to meet a fren for dinner. its really weird.. cos the last time i got such thing was probably when i was still in poly.. haha
Anyways, he saw me when i was on my way to the toilet next to Americaya in Parco. I came out after n was on my way to the mrt station.. passed xodus n he approach me.. i wasn't really sure wat he wanted at the start so i didn't dare to ignore him Dude: looking at shoes? Me: errr.. not really Dude: shopping alone? Me: on the way to meet my fren Dude: ic... u look familar.. r u local grad?
*pengz* so it was a pick up! n wat an old school way of picking someone up!! as i keep walking further away from me.. he kept walking nearer n nearer to me.. i didn't wanna look at him too cos as we all have heard of the hypnotism thingy?? he went on n on............ finally i stopped outside Yoshinoya at the basement.. he insisted on getting my number but i refuse then he gave me his name card... i was really tempted to throw the card away in front of him but i was thinking..... hmmm.. this is really amusing to me so i'm going to take a pic of it n put it up on my blog...
Fren laughed at me n said i should feel flattered.. but i think this is really freaky!! LOL never knew there was still such ppl around.. well it take many kinds of ppl to make up this world, i guess....
